Job Creation Network Ventures
What does it mean to be a Venture?
An Entrepreneurial Venture is any professional activity where you create a product, service, or cause. It can be anything, you can even create entire markets that don’t exist yet if you are creative enough. Although our focus is working with new ideas that haven’t even started yet, we also work with already existing start ups and existing business can join, but all ventures must be aligned with our 3 agreements which are listed bellow.
An entrepreneurial venture can take many forms. For example it can be a business, startup, sole proprietorship, corporation, LLC, non-profit, government committee, or just an individual creating professional art or make an album for sale. Our focus is working specifically with ventures that want to help create jobs, but volunteer-based organizations will not be turned away.
You only need one person to start an entrepreneurial venture. You can even have more than one venture per person if you are creative and work hard, but it is much easier to work in a group, which is why even if you are working on your own project, with the JCN you still work in a group, we just work collectively to succeed instead of by ourselves.

What do I get out of Joining?
There are many reasons to join the JNC, there also may be reason not to join as the JNC may not be a fit for every project. The most important reason to join is to be part of a collective group of entrepreneurs and business people who can share ideas and advice, and push each other to meet our goals. This is grassroots, individual to individual, look into each other eyes and help out with the hard work kind of network. Minimally, you will have phone access to other entrepreneurs and link up with a successful business you can get advice from if you are off somewhere without many other entrepreneurs around.
You will have the opportunity to attend weekly meetings or conference calls to collaborate with other entrepreneurs and discuss ideas for how to make money together and by supporting each other. Minimally you will be pared up with a few other entrepreneurs and be able to advise each other on what you need help on.
All ventures will get support with advertising and connecting to costumers through the network. Also all ventures will have the opportunity to write up a short description of their venture which will be presented to investors and capitol funders. If they like it then you will need to present the full business plan to pursue their funding.
As the network grows it will become clearer all the benefits that could launch your venture to become more successful than you could ever have done alone.
What are the responsibilities and agreements of Joining as a Venture?
We want entrepreneurs to take joining the JCN seriously. Although it is easy to join, once a deep relationship has been built, and the money starts coming in, there are long term commitments that would eventually become official. But to get started its as simple as a handshake, as long as you can incorporate these 3 agreements into your plan.
The 3 Job Creation Network Agreements and Responsibilities:
1.Agree to send a representative to meetings/conference calls, and/ or to be a resource for solving problems and giving advice to a few other ventures within the network.
2. Agree to buy the services and products from startup ventures within the Network first, before buying services and products from already existing businesses.
3. Agree to give back a percentage of your surplus/profit to the Jobs Creation Network, when you have succeeded, in order to help more ventures succeed. This should be based on the value that you feel the Jobs Creation Network had in helping your entrepreneurial venture become successful. (This percentage will be formalized on eventually, but there is no set amount for all ventures and no need to begin this discussion until your venture shows signs of success or gains capital funding. This is also a Tax-write off, so this cost will be somewhat offset for businesses, since you would only be giving back if your making enough money to pay taxes)
If this sounds like something you can agree to, then its time to JOIN.
