What if I’m not working on a venture and I still want to be involved?

   If you don’t have a venture of your own, don’t worry, you can still get involved with the JCN as a volunteer, and your work will help create jobs and could even land you a job!

There are many needs for volunteers especially in the JCN itself, from building the network, fundraising, communications, phone banking, keeping in touch and advising ventures, and finding and networking with new ventures.  Thats just the beginning.

Currently we need help getting the word out about our voting campaign to get a $50,000 grant and then we will be launching a national campaign to recruit ventures.

Anyone can easily volunteer just by forwarding emails and letting people know about the organization.  But Active on-going volunteers will be responsible for attending conference calls, and be encouraged to support a venture as well.  When, and as the funds come in, those who are already volunteering will be first in line to get jobs, if they have proved themselves to be hard workers.
